We extend our condolences to the family and friends of Dennis “Denny”
Lindberg, who passed away August 14, at the age of 96 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, daughter Sherry Lindberg and husband Ed Gilbertson; son Gary Lindberg and his wife Linda; Linda’s daughter Dawn and husband Steve Wicklander, and their son, Bryce.

CRC Major Amendment Passes by Wide Margin
CDFA has finished the vote tally and the major amendment has passed overwhelmingly. 73.38 percent of producers voted in favor and 85.71 percent of handlers voted in favor of the assessment cap increase.

Enrollment Opportunity – State Winter Flooding Program
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is now soliciting applications for its second year of the California Winter Rice Habitat Incentive Program (State Winter Flooding Program). In 2018, the State Legislature passed AB 2348, a bill carried by Assembly Member Aguiar-Curry to enact the State Winter Flooding Program and authorized $5 million to support the initial development and start-up of the Program.
