This significant drought year has caused widespread impacts throughout the Sacramento Valley, taking a toll on our rural agricultural communities and our environment. Reminder to Vote in CRC Board Elections

Completed ballots for the 2022/23 CRC Board elections must be postmarked by Monday, August 15, in order to be considered by CDFA. If you have not received your ballot, contact the CRC office at 916-387-2264 and we will provide you a duplicate.

Conservation Program Workshop this Week!

Are you interested in finding out more about the variety of conservation programs that are currently available for rice producers? The California Rice Commission is hosting a workshop this week to provide clarity on all of the programs including: Bid4BirdsCalifornia Winter Rice Habitat Incentive Program, Drought Relief Waterbird ProgramFish Foods Pilot Program, RCPP and more! Workshop speakers will provide program overviews, perspectives from rice producers that have participated in the past and opportunities for questions from the audience. Light refreshments will be provided and there is no RSVP required.

Conservation Programs Workshop Notice

This California Rice Commission is hosting a workshop next month to discuss all of the ongoing conservation programs that are available to the rice industry. The primary objective of this workshop is to provide clarity on all of the programs and help reduce confusion due to the large number of current program opportunities that are available. The workshop will feature key speakers for each of the programs as well as question and answer sessions.
