Good news continues as the thiobencarb monitoring results hit a peak detection of 1.2 ppb on May 20 at the CBD5 site, which is below the performance goal of 1.5 ppb. Monitoring results at the CBD5 site recovered to 0.79 ppb and 0.73 ppb on May 25 and 27. Sight detections were discovered at the lower Colusa Basin site (CBD1) and Butte Sough. We are halfway through the monitoring season and will continue share monitoring results throughout the season.

Rice growers will be receiving nominations forms for available CRC Board of Director seats mid-June. Please take a minute to nominate eligible growers to represent your district.
This year there are 18 eligible board seats, that have been allocated to each of the five districts based on 2020 planted acres. Open seats by district are indicated in the following table:
