CRC to Provide Online Thiobencarb Stewardship Training

CRC to Provide Online Thiobencarb Stewardship Training

The CRC will provide growers an easy way to complete the annual thiobencarb stewardship training this year – online! Future communications and links to this training will be forthcoming from the Commission very soon

In previous years, the presentation could be viewed at the county agricultural commissioner (CAC) offices. The option to view at the CAC office is not an available due to California COVID restrictions. The online course will be the only option in 2021.

Earlier this week, we received approval of the 2021 Rice Pesticide Program (thiobencarb) from the Central Valley Water Board. The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) approved the continuing education accreditation today, so launching the online training will be forthcoming.

For questions and additional information, please contact Roberta Firoved, Industry Affairs Manager at rfiroved@calrice.org or (916) 206-5039.
