After nearly two years in production, we are excited to announce that today marks the debut of “Sharing Butte Creek,” a short film on this major environmental success story. Emmy Award winning producer, photographer and editor Kit Tyler interviewed rice growers, water officials, conservationists and others as part of this project.

“Sharing Butte Creek” is the latest in a steady flow of content for our Sacramento Valley Water Campaign, jointly funded by the California Rice Commission and Northern California Water Association, and carried out by the CRC. We plan widespread promotion of this video through social media and earned media, including a custom designed thumb drive included in every Rice Box for our Legislative Day next month.
