After some technical difficulties with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s weblink to the main program document called the Public Solicitation Notice (PSN), the issues have now been resolved. A reminder that the CRC’s Winter Rice Habitat Program Workshop will be held next Monday at the Colusa Casino. This Thursday is the deadline to register. Here’s a link to more information, including how to sign up for the workshop.
The program has $5 million in start-up funding in the current state budget. We expect this amount of funding will initially enroll nearly 142,000 acres in three-year habitat contracts. READ MORE
