Online Thiobencarb Stewardship Training coming soon

The mandatory thiobencarb stewardship training recording will be available 24/7 to access from two locations. Video recordings will be available no later than January 5. Viewing the video is the only option for receiving credit for the mandatory thiobencarb stewardship training. 

New for 2022:

  1. No live video
  2. The video is prerecorded to either view at once or in five modules
  3. Closed captioning has been added to the pre-recorded video
  4. All video sources link to the FarmProgress CEU site
    1. Directly on FarmProgress or links from calricenews.wordifysites.com
  5. The exam is shorter and so is the total CEU credit available – 1.0 hour (down from 1.5 hours)
  6. Everyone taking the course last year can use the same log-in information

Nitrate (NO3) in soil can often be found in rural and agricultural areas due to fertilizer, livestock waste, and septic systems.  Nitrate can be highly mobile in soil and can readily leach to groundwater.  According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, when present in groundwater, nitrate can cause serious health effects if consumed.
